    • It is a great children s book that gives some glimpse of Puerto Rico s culture I liked the way Spanish and local words were incorporated in the text The glossary was also nice so, although, I m not familiar with some of the words, I was able to look for their meaning I also liked the pictures, they re very colorful like the Puerto Rico itself, I would imagine , with lots of details.

    • This is a really nice story about being yourself I particularly liked the inclusion of Spanish words throughout the story I think this would make a really good read aloud The spanish words are explained in the back and there is information about the town that the story is set in additionally the watercolor illustrations add a lot of charm The only thing that could be improved would be to include some phonetic markers in the dictionary I knew many of the Spanish words, but not all and I really ha [...]
