    • I m not a big fan of short stories, but I picked this up in an antique store because of the title and awesome cover I know, I know At our cabin, I collect books that pertain to ghost stories around the fire There were a few stories that creeped me out, and I liked that they were modern day settings But some of the last stories were disappointing, which reminds me of why I usually don t read books of short stories Like buying a CD some of the songs will be awesome and some will be mediocre.

    • Ugh Each story was cheesier than the rest, which I guess is a pitfall when writing scary stories, but at the very least they could have built suspense, which I don t think any of them did well One star for the design and packaging of this volume, which sets it apart from other collections of short stories Overall, I pass.

    • OK, but seems to be a one trick pony type of story Each story has something big, hairy, slimy, etc coming after the narrator in a somewhat predictable way.
